I bought this domain in 2006 when the .FR extension was available for everyone (before that it was just for business).
It's the EMD, with 18 100 search monthly and 7 680 000 results on Google.fr.
CPC for the keyword alone is 1,10$, but for "recipe keyword" it's 2.68$.
Somes stats about the domain :
Trust Flow : 9
Citation Flow : 13
Domain Authority : 22
Page Authority : 28

I was able to rank on the first page for both of those keywords with a really shitty website with no contents. Made me something like 80? in Adsense without putting any work in it.
But I kinda abandonned the website and was busy with other things, since then it lost all rankings and traffic.

Now I'd like to seriously do it and after gathering advices and ideas here on BHW I think I have a pretty solid blueprint on what to do.

Here's my TODO list :
Search all keywords related to the main one, list in categories for future articles and categories on the website.
Create the identity of the website (Logo, Wordpress theme).
Create the social profiles.
Write articles for the main keywords.
Create a couple of web 2.0.
Find pictures for the main keywords + the most researched recipes.
Find a way to make videos.
Find ways to monetize the website (thinking mostly about Adsense & Amazon)
Find ways to bring legit user-generated content to the website.

The first page of Google for the main keyword got lots of recipe websites with rich snippets reviews and pictures, so I'll have to work on that too.
So far I did the keyword search, and gathered some URLs to get some inspiration for my first articles.

I'll try to update at least once a week to keep you guys up to date with my progress.

Good luck is your content on french ?
do you write it yourself or hire someone ?
what about SEO using software or manually ?

Yes it's french !
I'll start writing my own content, haven't found a good/affordable french copywriter yet.
For the SEO part, a bit of both. I'll create some web 2.0 and use GSA to get some links, and i'll do some light link building for the main website by hand.

Guys can you recommend any Spin Software for Tier 1 link building?

So this week I started to create social profiles for the main website, and web 2.0 accounts.
I've also been collecting pictures to illustrate recipes.

I'll have to find a freelancer to write some of the texts cause I tried to do it myself and it's getting repetitive really fast...
