I'm starting with the build of an authority website to target a +200.000 searches/month keyword.

There are about 100 subkeywords available like:
KEYWORD xxxxx
KEYWORD yyyyy
KEYWORD xxxx zzzzz
etc.

What would be the best website structure to build this?

I was thinking Wikipedia-style... Homepage (3000 words article) targetting main keyword and subpages for each subkeyword (300-600 words articles) with a link back to the homepage. Interlinking each subpage with 10 other subpages. Would that work?

You should group together the keywords that are similar. I better to make a big article (2000+), including close variations of the same keyword than many pages with 500-700 words with overlapping content. Why interlink with the homepage ?!

Tom has a couple of site guides.

read about silos, its little complicated, because no matter what you do, you will have to link pages that you dont want to rank, unless you create something you want to rank on Categories and on Homepage as well
