Building A Wordpress Plugin for BHW, I Need Your Ideas !

Hey guys,

I was thinking about building a Wordpress plugin for bhw members. I have some ideas of my own but just wanted to reach out and see what the community needs/wants to see in terms of WP plugins. There have been very few for sale here so far. So what is something you are looking for in a plugin?

Nobody wants any plugins? Kind of shocking..
 
I would like to see a plugin for wordpress just for us, how about a plugin that has redirects to external sites. or a blackhat link cloaker.
 
Okay how about this: a plugin that allows the administrator to convert any keyword site-wide to a link of his/her choice.

For example, let's say I have a site about finance and I want the KW "car loan" to link to a particular offer throughout my site. Doing this manually is impossible if the site has lots of posts/pages, and that's where this plugin will come in real handy - it will allow the admin to do this site-wide with the click of a button.

Think you can code such a plugin?
 
Mmm I suggest you to build a plugin for Wordpress security. Though many plugins are already there, most of them don't do what is needed. Or, may be try building a plugin for showing rich snippets?

There are some plugins for this.
 
A plugin to completely wipe out wordpress footprints . :P
It may have negative effect on most of us , but lately I have been on the receiving end of this .
Edit ;- I know there are a few such services and plugins Even here also , but they are not free
 
Good suggestion, though I think someone did it already!

Hi Tom, what do you mean redirects to external sites? Can you explain a bit more on that. Thanks.
 
How about a plugin that makes $50/day? ;)

Seriously, there are so many plugins out there that do nearly everything. Quite tough to think of something new.

ZonBuilder (I think that's the name...) is a plugin that fetches items and posts them for you, I would recommend it if you are looking for an amazon affiliate site plugin.

Pinterest doesn't have an API or at least it's not open to the public yet and that is why you don't see plugins for it. But there might be another way to do it I'll explore.
 
I need a plugin that fetches me Amazon latest prices every 6 hours or so, or whatever that will keep my site away from getting banned by Amazon. I also need to select and fetch the items (along with those latest prices at preset times). The plugin should be capable of arranging the details the way I want it (div/css manipulation).

Am in a hurry so I could only think of this much, sorry! You can set a price to the plugin, but give it to me free! Would be infinitely thankful to you... :)

Yeah, there is no API but there has to be a way without it because nextscripts is offering something for 49$ and they even have a live demo on their site.

But thanks for investigating.
