Ok, so I have been using my PC laptop but I need it for work and for my business for SEO. So I need a second PC and I was thinking of getting another laptop with 16 gig i5 or 7 intel chip to run GSA and NHSEO 24/7. I was also looking into building a workstation as well but unsure. I just want all my SEO programs on one PC that can handle them without the lag.

What I have running now, UD, NHSEO demo, and Scrapbox when needed. I will be buying GSA in a month. Anyone have any ideas or input?

dumb question here but why dont you just use some VPS instead ? to run what u need and off load your notebook

I don't want another monthly bill I am looking at the long run.

I was thinking of a VM but on the PC that I am going to buy soon

Found one and I am looking at a budget between 700-1500.00

I think that VPS + Remote Desktop is the best solution. On VPS you can use different IPs, but the good plans are too expensive.
Ok, this is my solution, that i use:
- Build home PC - you need RAM and fast CPU(6-8GB and 3GHz+). The graphical card can be inbound.
- Install virtual machine and Windiwos. Allow Remote Desktop.
- On your router settings - forward TCP port 3389 to computer IP address.
- Go to your Cpanel and create subdomain. For example: seoserver or what you want.
- Create DNS A record and point your subdomain to your computer IP.
- On your laptop - open Remote Desktop, type your server address(your subdomain) and your credentials.
And you have own VPS without monthly fees. :)

I hope that this will help you.
Be happy - Kaloyan! :)

remember that you should have static IP at home, if not try dyndns or any other dynamic IP service
