For those of you experienced with link building, would it be a good idea to build a PBN with fresh domains?

My niche doesn't seem to have any expired domains with a good/clean backlink profile.

I feel like the only con would be it taking a little longer, but is it worth it in the long run?

TIA

You don't need expired domains in your niche to make a good PBN. The domain can be whatever, doesn't have to be related to your niche.

True. But it's always better to have link juice from the past owner, as long as the domain hasn't been spammed to death.

It's not the only con - you need a plan for building links for those PBN sites, and you'll probably end up hitting them all with the same link sources (Web 2.0s, GSA SER, etc).

Oh, I wasn't talking about a brand new domain. The OP said that since there wasn't any niche-related expired domain in his niche, he was looking into a niche-related new domain, so I was suggesting that they use an expired domain from any niche, since that is a lot better than a brand new one.

I've been reading about google manual reviews, would the non-niche related domain cause a penalization to my money site or PBN site?

Only if you do it in a way where it is so obvious your blog/site is a shitty $5 setup created for one purpose only.

Depends if you can blend it in to fit your niche or not.

I was under the impression that a PBN is so valuable because it uses domains with good link juice. Defeats the purpose no?

I was going to build a group of back links for each of my PBN sites and wait.

Yes ! It will work. I have 20+ PBN, using new domains. I just drip backlinks over time. Wait and the power still their.

How long did it take to see changes to your money site?
