Building a New Website in the UK - .COM or .UK ?

Hey all, I just wanted to know your thoughts about this.....

The .co.uk version of my domain has been registered.

However, I can have a .com or a .uk

Which would you register and why?

.com normally...

Especially if your audience is global, a .uk will not rank as high in the USA, for example, and americans provide more eyeballs than brits

If you are building brand.. then get both. Redirect the UK to .com
