Building a "authority site" from scratch step by step Journey

Today I received my 6 new articles with diferent word cont, two of them are with 1000+words. I will drip them to the site planing to publish an articles every 5 days, 6 articles/post = 30 days.

Yesterday I received my first organic visitor ..YEY but i have a long way to go.

Today I changed my theme. For me one of the most important thing about the site is to be beautiful and well organized. The last one was spouse to be "seo friendly" theme, but I just didn't like it at all so I decided to change it.

After all day looking for themes I came arose one that was news type theme. I am almost done with the theme its need some finalizing and its done.

Also today I did publish a new article with 1000+words and I'm checking all the time when will Google index it so I'll know the speed of indexing for my site. I don't wanna post the article to Facebook and someone stole it before it was indexed by Google, that would be a waist.
 
After my theme was changed that was about 10 hours ago, one keyword ranked and its in the 285 place in the Google search engine.

I know there is nothing to be happy about but this is the first keyword for this site that ranked with 0 backlinks and social signals. I'm not sure if it was because of the theme change or not, but I like the positive change.

I forgot about that :D but I wanna see how long does it take to get indexed on it own so I can have a perspective.
 
Update:

I don't know if anyone is reading my journey, but I will continue to post updates and progress for everyone that is interested to learn from my successes and failures.

I have 4 keyword manage to rank without a single backlink. They are all around the 250 position in the Google search. I know It nothing but for me its a success for now. I have paid for manual backlinks, its diversity of backlinks and i think its good for a start. The backlinks will be dripped about 20 to 30 days with no indexing software cos I am trying to make it look more natural as posible.

I have experienced problems with my nulled theme. Some of the post in Google are showing different description for a casino. I have backup my sql files and the image uploads and reinstall a fresh WordPress, I believe the problem is fixed. I did try the options google fetch and the casino description is gone.
 
I have added a new keyword to my serp checker form my new article I have posted a few days ago. The keyword for that article is on the 124 place, its just wow it manage to rank in just 3 days.

Just wanted to let you know that you might have more lurkers then you think ;-) So please keep updating! Just didn't want to spam your thread too much. Will be interesting to see someone going at an authority site again... in my opinion it's the best way to a steady income, although it won't be fully passive (you will need to keep updating content).

Thank you all for you kind words and I will keep updating my journey.
But i think I have long way to go until I become successful.
I will not forgot the social signals, I know that lot of people are telling that social signals are worthless but I know by fact that they are wrong.
 
I am also building my first authority site. Are you following another journey thread which you are relating your strategies?

I would take this suggestions from our co-members:
-Do not worry about having backlinks
-Do not worry about keyword diversity
-Do not worry about the length of your articles
-Make it very natural, Do not overdo your keywords
-Make it very informative
-Just update and forget

If it's authority then you will be there on page 1 in no time.

I did a quick search about silo structure and I'm confused, I don't know if i can do it with my current wp theme, I will read more about it.
 
Uppdate:
I am not doing to much to the site for now, I post new article every 5 day and also I have put an order on a seo pack with a 30 drip.

I have one keyword that is ranking between 85 and 130 spot the other 7 keywords are occasionally showing below 300 position and the other keywords are nowhere to be find.

Have in mind i only have fresh 50 backlinks to my main domain only 11 are do follow, i'm trying not to rush ( my plan is to move slowly and steady ).
 
You're doing good.As many of the guys above said,do not focus on kw density.However you should really improve the length of your article.You can try like -1k words x1,700 words x2 ,500 words x2 articles per month .
Also build a good social presence.
That's my $0.02
