Building 301 redirects

So in the past I've bought the odd high pr domain and redirected to a completely new one. Results have always been decent.

Now I'm thinking of scaling up a bit.

Can anyone see or does any know if there is a benefit for buying multiple high pr domains, then redirecting individually to internal pages?

Or is it better to have them all redirect to front end ie. Homepage?
