Backlinks from Reddit are really powerful. Reddit Backlink Increase your Domain Authority. Also, Quora are more beneficial for position ranking. They can bring lots of traffic and leads from Google or their own users.

OP is asking about building links TO a Reddit article. The Reddit post will probably be used for parasite purposes - so to funnel traffic to an affiliate link or a form of data capture. I don't think they're wanting to use Reddit as a backlink source, for the reasons you mentioned. A few of the other posters obviously haven't read the OP.

Debatable. But a link from Reddit pointing to an article will have a positive impact for sure.

Since this post was made, Google have made a deal with Reddit for their AI training data. With this partnership I think it is safe to say that Google are putting a lot of emphasis on Reddit posts in their rankings as a busier reddit means a better AI for Google.
Posting stuff to Reddit is a must in 2024.

it would somehow pass link juice but not that effective as the conversions would be low .
