[BUG] Phone Verification

Somehow the instagram phone verification change their interface, it still ask for phone verification but when I fill the number and hit next, it won't redirect me to the page that let me enter the security code (I don't get the code too), but it redirect me to the login page again.
Any help is highly appreciated.

PS. I verify through the firefox though.

That is not a bug it means your accounts is ban. it happens to me, i simply move on and create a new one. :)
 
For the first, use Chrome. Then use other Number. The Number u are using is temporary baned.

It means that the account is still active even you can find it on IG search bar results and all i need to do is just change the number?

Yes. For this Bug/Problem I have 2 Sim Cards. I just switch the numbers when it happens and I'm back in the game.

Just move on and make a new one, explore in a slow manner. LOL

Changing number what so ever is epic fail as well for me.
 
Same issue. Changing number / SIM doesn't work. The new UI of phone verification on Instagram just logs you out and redirects you to their homepage. You don't even have the opportunity to fill in a code. The account doesn't get banned (it still exists), but you simply can't login to it anymore.

Issue has been happening for at least a month already. I thought it was a temporary bug first, but it doesn't look like it. Looks like the accounts this happens to are lost. Move on :(
 
UPDATE:

If you login with one of those accounts via the IG mobile app, you can verity the account and it works fine.

However, you cannot change the country code of the phone number if you do it via the mobile app. IG fetches the country code via your IP. Thus, you can only verify it with a number from your own country, or use proxies/VPN.

I can confirm it works fine on app (Use mobile or emulator).

And i dont have problem changing country code, just tap it multiple times slowly and it should pop up the list.
 
Solved. Just login with instagram app.
 
Anyone have any ideas on when this bug will be fixed? I'm sure it's a bug because it works if you login via mobile. If IG meant to do this, then they wouldn't allow everything to be A OK if you login with a mobile.
