BuddyPress reCAPTCHA

Hello everyone,

I am having a substantial amount of trouble in finding a way to implement a recaptcha into the BuddyPress registration page. I have tried searching in google, finding plugins (that are very old), and nothing works. BuddyPress support is not helping nor is the theme support. So I am at a loss here and am tired of dealing with all of the spam registrations. If anyone knows of a method to add a recaptcha to BuddyPress registration, or another way to stop spam, please let me know.
