What's your take on the long term? Wil the ETH contracts and DApps placed on the block chain continue to raise its price?

Bitcoin is very bad. It only has first mover advantage. The network lag is awful. The blockchain is bloated, the cube size debate has ruined and split the community.

Bitcoin is losing its marketplace share in the crypto market as we speak. All time low. Check here:

Potential cryptos that can overtake Bitcoin:

- Ethereum but not as a currency, mostly as a network for dapps.
- NEM, also as a network for dapps (currently extremely undervalued)
- PIVX for instant transactions.
- DASH for instant transactions.

Are you giving us this as a hunch or do you have any sources to back this ? Curious to know.

The thing about volatile altcoins is that the online hype can be incredible. Pump & dump works so well because the market caps are so small on all of them. I'm always very wary of any altcoin promotion.

Bitcoin is far from perfect, but the benefit it has is history, and market cap. It has $19 billion sitting in it right now, more than all other alts combined, so I feel safe with the majority of my coins in BTC.

Bitcoin has a high mountain for people to climb. It's a pain in the ass to mine one BTC these days. But it's still worth it as a cryptocurrency to be used for the long-term. If you want a good alternative, mine Ethreum.
