If you are worrying about this recent drop, look at one chart.

This chart tells you that the amount of Bitcoin on Exchanges decreased heavily during the entire run.

And still is decreasing.

Those investors won't sell on this 15% drop, neither should you.

It's an investment.

This is just a signal. BTC exchange inflows can happen anytime.

It really doesn't matter if Bitcoin goes now from 30k to maybe 300k in the next 10 years. there are other better option. for example, I had 10 or so bitcoin in 2013 (yes, in 2013) and they are now dead because I've thrown away that laptop in 2014 or so.

But I am not sad about that, sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. My biggest win to this day is the shopify stock which I bought for $20 per share, the stock is currrently trading at 960 - so I have about 48x times the return.

If you wanted to make money with bitcoin, you should have bought during the crypto winter or pre 2016. now it's just an overpriced vehicle.

Hey Dude!

Cool information on buying shares, How many shares of Shopify did you get?

I think you should make a thread on how you started investing in Stocks and how much success it has brought you! i am sure a lot of people (including my self will love to learn !.

Cheers!

Yeah, BTC is in COMA right now. Satoshi was seen highly tense and worried. World is praying for it's recovery.

May BTC Get Well Soon

Very true. What is your prediction about BTC drops?

Like any market it will go up and down. People will panic buy and panic sell. BTC has plenty of institutional support and a lot of coins moved to cold storage. I doubt a lot of them will be sold until at least a year is up for tax reasons. I don't see demand slowing down. This dip is just some panic selling imo.

I reckon after the 2018 crash, more investors are smarter now to hodl longer. :)

Now I can understand what you are telling. Are you one of investors?

Yup! And to avoid short term capital gains tax. This rise was never going to be sustainable. It will fall and then people will start rebuying.

everything is ups and downs not only BTC.....only dead stuff graph goes straight :D
Great line. That's pretty funny to see how anytime bitcoin falls everybody starting to create threads like that.
Don't know the future of the bitcoin. But it's kinda logic all that is happening with it.

I have a strong BTC position that I'm holding, but the kind of investors I'm talking about are large investment firms with hundreds of millions in bitcoin. They moved them off exchanges to cold storage and they will sit there for at least a year. Since there will be a supply crunch, BTC should stay at a strong price for at least the next year. Especially since these firms will likely continue to buy.

So you are recommending to invest more in BTC and hold it. Right??

I mean, you know your appetite for risk a lot better than I do.

If I knew for sure BTC would go up, I'd have 100% of my investments in it. I personally am invested in BTC and holding it and see it as a solid investment. Most of my money is tied up in other projects, but if BTC drops to 30k I know I'll buy more haha. Same with most of my friends.
