BTC Dump Begins

It is almost back to where it was.

Anything can happen but I don't think the 6,000's would be impossible.

BTC goes up, everyone is so confident on it.

BTC has a correction (which isn't a bad thing) - everyone panics and starts talking shit about BTC.

I'm "gambling" with a bunch on crypto lately and honestly I don't care however it will end, I can afford both scenarios. Now get your shit straight (everyone here not LukaB), bitcoin is not the only blockchain technology and there are many great projects which could be used mainstream, for everyday use. I don't see why market couldn't swap/support other project in a very short time like Ethereum popped from no where where it stands today. If you will tell me that Ethereum (for example) which is scalable is another bubble, then you're clearly a troll or a moron.

Hey kids wait, bitcoin is on BBC, bitcoin is everywhere, don't you think that recent correciton is the time when the big boys and companies take their profits pumping it from 7-8k$? That's called correction, not explosion of the bubble as far as I know. Everytime it gets back just more expensive than it was.

Though, it's really pathetic to see a group of people who feel satisfied seeing every corection, waiting for their "big moment" to tell: Haven't I told you it's a bubble? Look how I was right.

Like seriously, you don't have anything better to do with your life...

Ego my friend, Ego is the enemy.

Relax. My skeptical posts aren't geared towards people such as yourself who can afford both scenarios, but instead for those who decided that it was a smart idea to speculate on more than they could afford to lose. I worked in the gambling industry for a long time. I have worked in the financial industry for a long time. Crypto is the perfect storm of a blend of the problematic aspects of both markets: Ill-informed or bias-driven masses blindly shoving money into something that they are told is a sure thing.

My threads being incorrect about when the bubble bursts was never meant to be fact, but speculation, just not speculation with the opinions aligned with your beliefs. Something isn't pathetic when it isn't something you agree with. If that was the case, from my perspective the nonstop "leave crypto alone" whiners are pathetic as well.

Yes, I have plenty of better things to do with my life. It's just nice being able to sit back and watch things start to play out as anticipated.

I was expecting correction. The sudden increase in price was because it reached 10000 mark which always brings news articles.

Wasn't really directing to you personally. If it sounds like direct offense, then take my apologize.

I have a bunch of friends on Facebook who feel like they're uber smart, posting shit how everyone is going to lose their money sooner or later, like there is no other scenario. While in reality they don't know a shit nor about blockchain nor about anything further besides some shitty financial times articles they take as "the real deal".

So let's be real here, there will always be 2 camps like everywhere. If we will start constructive discussion how it MAY not WILL happen everyone will be easier on the topic. There is nothing wrong with speculations and I agree to some things you're telling.

Same, man. People on Facebook are experts and devil's advocates on fuckin' everything. The single 23-year old mother of two selling essential oils has a very strong opinion on how cryptocurrency is the devil's doing.

Average BTC gain is 0.6% daily this year. We had some +5% and +10% days which aren't sustainable. I don't see any reason for panic.

+1 for this. I usually show up to these threads to complain about pseudo-intellectual pro-Bitcoin neckbeards. Thanks for the reminder to complain about pseudo-intellectual anti-Bitcoin neckbeards as well.

i remember first time when the bubble began it hit $1000+ and started falling after that then it was trading at $200-300 for over 6 months...

so if comes to as low as 5k, i wouldn't be surprised.

Still patiently wait for it to hit the low so I can buy and wait again for the next bubble.

I don't really care if it brings value or not, just see that there is some money to be made here.

That's a good look at history.

Hit $1000, around Nov 13, 2013
Dropped to $609, around Dec 22, 2013
Back up to $975, around Jan 6, 2014
Then trailed down to $216 by Feb, 2015
Then stayed at those 200-300 level for almost 2015 entire year

Tough to know whether past patterns mean anything. Crypto is so new.

What's that saying? A fool and his money are easily parted. If some people are prone to making ill-informed financial decisions, then it does not matter whether they choose to invest into crypto or not. They are just as likely to lose it either way.

I'd prefer to inform people and save them from making life-altering mistakes, then let them twist in the wind and only think of my own situations. I try to put an overall categorical focus in my entire posting history here on improving the financial mindset of members who may have never received proper financial education.
