This journey thread is to keep me accountable, engage with people that can help me, engage with people I can help, and inspire others to take action. I don't know much, yet, but I will share what I do know and provide results from tests and mistakes I make along the way.
I've been at it for about a week and just had my first setback. All 10 fb accounts I was warming were locked simultaneously. Let's backtrack...
- I read the entire thread. Nuances galore. Lots of smart and generous people contributing.
- I bought 10 non-aged pvas and set up profiles. (see Appendix A below)
- Got 10 private proxies and configured them with 10 discreet instances of firefox.
- I settled on 2 niches and found offers for them. 5 accounts/niche.
- Hired scraper to get 500 groups/niche. Edited lists to delete asian/buy-sell-trade groups.
- I started warming accounts up: 5-7 groups joined/day, posted on my timeline, liked friend's (sourced from add me groups) statuses, played a couple games, responded to incoming messages, posted to group walls content designed to engage.
- I got the feel for warming things up and did some math, figuring that a VA for $3.33/hr for 1.5 hours/day for 1 month would yield 10 fully warm accounts for $15/account. Very worth it to me. So I set up my accounts on a windows VPS, posted an ad on Upwork, and got someone that fit the bill.
And.. BAM. Banhammer on all accounts, ID verification. So Either I migrated the proxies incorrectly and facebook picked up on the discrepancy, or my VA went wildly against my instructions (Appendix B) and somehow fucked 10 accounts in 2 days. Really not sure. I double checked which proxies were for which accounts. And the VA had specific instructions, and has over 1000+hours logged with 4+ star rating..
Anyways - now going to start again. Getting fresh proxies and fresh pvas. This time going with 1 year aged PVAs.

Appendix A.
- Get 5-10 pictures of a woman age 30-60 from ok cupid. Real women, not too attractive.
- Set profile picture/cover picture (of nature, group shot, paris, etc)
- Publically share 5 things on your timeline. Alter dates to make the account seem like it has a history.
- "Like" movies, music, shows, pages, etc.
- Add employment. Google, samsung, applebees.. it depends on your niche, really.
- Make your current location private. Many niche groups are specific to geographic areas, need I say more?
- Join "add friends" groups, make a few posts, and accept 30ish friend requests.
- Add your other dummy accounts as friends.
Appendix B.
These are my instructions for my VA. Feel free to use these as a template for your own VA, or tell me if you see any red flags in what I've instructed.
Simple instructions:
1. Open firefox profile 1 and perform all steps.
2. Reply to messages.
3. Like/comment newsfeed posts.
4. Write on walls of new groups account has been accepted into.
5. Write/share something on the account's wall.
6. Engage with users in 3 different groups.
7. Post photos on the walls of 2 other groups.
8. Join 5-8 groups from the excel sheet.
Detailed instructions:
1. Open firefox profile folder. Click profile one and perform the following steps:
2. Log into facebook.
3. -Reply to all messages. Not in depth, just a hello. If someone asks "how are you", say something such as "I am good, thank you".
4. -Scroll through news feed and like a few posts, make simple comments such as, "Cool!" on a few posts.
5. -Check notifications. When moderators approve entry into a new group, go to the group and say, "Hey ladies! Thanks for having me, looking forward to chatting it up about _______" Fill in the blank according to the group name. So if the group is about babies or motherhood, you would say "Hey ladies! Thanks for having me, looking forward to chatting it up about babies!/motherhood!/skincare!/makeup!/parenting!/etc."
6. -Write or share something on account wall with privacy set to "friends" and not "public". Write something such as, "Loving this weather!", or, "It's a great day to be alive!", or, "Just made a delicious dinner!" It doesn't really matter what you say as long as it's varied day to day and generally a nice thing to say. Alternatively you can share something from Buzzfeed, new York times, huffington post, time magazine, etc.
7. Go to 3 groups that the account is a member of. "Like" various member's posts. Leave 1 simple comment on another member's posts. If someone complains that something is wrong, comment "I hope things improve J". If somebody shares a picture, comment, "Very cute!". That kind of thing. The goal is to engage with members of the group.
8. Go to 2 OTHER groups the account is a member of, and post a photo from the desktop folder "profile [X]". X is the profile number, for example, folder "profile 1", folder "profile 2", and so on. Post the same photo in both groups along with a simple caption that invites the members to "Like if...". For example: " "Like" this photo if you know what this is like
", or, " "Like" this photo if you agree!". Again, the goal is to engage with members of the group. After posting the photo, rename it "used1", "used2", etc. This is so I can keep track of what photos have been used and which haven't. Switch these groups up on a daily basis so as to engage with a many groups over time.
9. Open the excel sheet with all of the group links. Firefox profile 1 is joining groups from the excel tab labeled "profile 1". Firefox profile 2 is joining groups from the excel tab labeled "profile 2", and so on. Join 5-8 groups . Some days 5, some days 7, and so on. Make it random. Make sure to keep track of which groups you've requested to join. You may notate this on the excel sheet or otherwise do so however you'd like.
10. Close firefox. Re open profile 2, and perform all steps, then profile 3, and so on until all accounts are done.
