As some other posters wrote, this is pure Gold! Everything a noob needs to know. Some things I already knew from my academic background(as a bullshitter, just kidding), but never saw them so well organized. Every day I become more and more glad I came to the dark side(where the money is)!
I guess not everything is exactly the same as 4 years ago, but many things are, and the essential is there.

nice post mate. we can now use social sites such as twitter to find out the most twitted stuff to understand whats the current hype and then use to for marketing purposes. i read somewhere that 30% of people in US and UK searching stuff on google or bing end up buying stuff. thats something to look at if you are interested.
