I hope im not being annoying and asking too many questions
Ive looked up and down before I came here to ask why is it like this?

I had the same issue and had to play with it. I looked at the screenshot on this site http://www.alltechknowledge.com/use-bluestack-tweaker-latest-download/

And not sure if it really helped but I clicked on the button in the middle where the resolution box is, then I clicked full stop and closed bluestacks 2.0. Then under services I clicked start for BS Android. And miraculously after this it started to work. Note: I had not a damn clue what I was doing clearly but it somehow started working at the end of the day :)

Another thing I realized is that when you have bluestacks running, you cannot change the android ID, google advertising ID, and model. So I really believe the big thing is to close bluestacks and do a full stop.

Okay so for some reason I am back to bs tweaker being greyed out. I found that I didn't have all the root files in the folder so i found the root files somewhere online and added to programdata/bluestacks/android . After doing that I went back to bs tweaker and I hit the start button under BS Android. Works for a few seconds then for some stupid reason it goes back to grey. Anyone know why sure hope someone knows and can answer.

I am having the same issue as Cinnabunny94. I have downloaded the newest version of bluestacks, rooted it with KingRoot and a root check app says it is rooted. I can change the GUID, however, same as OP I cannot change the Android ID and/or Google Advertising ID.

well i messed with it it it got solved somehow. but now when I go to change something, I get "error state 2" ah, cant win
