Anyone trying this lately? I just talked to someone who feels it is easy, quick and works to get backlinks. Only thread I could find in this forum is old.

Trying to find something safe to use for getting backlkinks since the new google update. One of my sites just got deindexed - maybe from using Linxboss.

There is no such thing as being deindexed as long as your sites still up on the internet, it could have moved down a page or even moved down amore than a couple of pages, building backlinks to your site will not get you "sandboxed", this is a myth. As for programs to gain backlinks quick and easy, I suggest Scrapebox and X-rumer.

Just FYI - DeIndexed means that your site is no longer in the index of a given search engine, whether it is still on the web (and in other search engine indexes) or not.

To see if something has been deindexed you do the same thing as you would to see if it has been indexed in the first place (when it is brand new - before it gets put into the index).

In the search box - say of Google - type site:mydomain.com. If it says "Your search - site:mydomain.com - did not match any documents." or words to that effect - it has been deindexed (taken out of the index) for that search engine.

If a site has merely dropped way down or been sandboxed - the indexed pages would still be listed in response to that query.

Just FYI: There no such as being deindexed once your indexed. Reason is a search engine is not going to take your site off their search engine becuase they are a Search Engine. So unless your site was down for a day or two it might be deindexed for a day or two but it will get reindexed.

Deindexing happens. To see if your site has been removed from the index, type "site: yoursite.com" If nothing pops up, it is not in the index.

If something does pop up, you're in the index, but possibly experiencing a sandbox or a dance. Especially if you were previously ranking for certain terms, but no longer are.

I'm talking about Google, not really sure about the other ones.

FYI, You just said what the guy above just said. There is no such thing as being deindexed unless your site goes down. In which case that would be your fault not the search engine.

Your site can be removed from the index. It doesn't have to go down. Just because Google knows about your site doesn't mean they will list it.

Think of Spam, or certain adult sites that won't show up in the index. They're still up and active, but you won't find them by a search.

Are you serious? Here is what Google has to say about that:

Practices that violate our guidelines may result in a negative adjustment of your site's presence in Google, or even the removal of your site from our index.

If they go to that extreme, i would presume they would contact the owner of the site first, but hey it's google they are a law upon themselves, so they may not!

However, if that ws the case then what i would do is do exactly what you did to get your site ranked in google for your main competitors ideally the bigger companies and see if they appreciate it when they get de-indexed lol

I can't ever really see google doing that, as everyone would ruin their competitors, they only do that too sick wierd sites or spam sites which is nothing of relevance to normal people and they would of definately done a manual check of site before doing that action, as can you see certain multinationals ever being de-indexed for having those type links you had, if not then your then sandboxed not de-indexed.

You can get deindexed (sic) by being banned.

I would imagine thought that building backlinks to your site shouldn't get you sandboxed or de-indexed because then any of your competitors can get you de-indexed by backlinking to your site. There would be virtually no websites/competition left if it were that easy, haha!.
