Even though I get Zero to One visitors per day I added AdSeNsE. This is just to test how much it has changed and if it effects Serp results.
I did test the ad but tbh the ads where not appealing. I normally wait at least till there is 25 visitors a day before putting on adsense I just kind of jumped the gun. However they where very relevant to the content. It was the same results that where basically in the search engine for my keywords. Top 3 results as I had three ad spaces and all three where in the top 3 results in google. It again proves my point about companies buying the top serp positions. Bad SEO - Keyword Spaming - Bad off site SEO practices looking like someone hit those sites with xrummer scrapebox. Horrible keyword density on the offsite. Like 80 percent of the links are keyword. 20 percent brand. That is not natural at all. Yet Wow guess what they get first slot positions.and once more, I am glad that you are three steps ahead of me but for some reason eerily on the same page.LOL
I have not gotten my sites back from @luhasr yet but I have been writing, setting up social medias and looking into monetizing.
While I read quite a few online articles saying that the downside of adsense is that it can potentially canibalize your sales and send your guests to a competitor, from my own experience as a reader, I see its downside is the lack of targetting and irrelevancy.
For example, yesterday I went on the blog of a lady who rescues horses and her site displayed an ad for QFC. I clicked on it because I always do that when I read something good since I know that's how bloggers make their money but it had me wondering: what did QFC had to do with horses?
You would think that they would target their audience better and you would expect to see an ad for riding pants or jeans or at least related to country living on a blog about equines.
Those kind of irrelevant ads probably work well for people who run those annoying click bait sites but for quality sites such as hers (or the one you are setting up ), I don't see how you would get great monetization from adsense especially since most people won't go out of their way to consciously click on any ad as a "thank you" for a nice post.
Nothing wrong with being salty and "hating" as long as you use it as a catalyst for your work and don't let it consume you. Personally, I think that the pressure to be "nice" and "civilized" and repress any "negative" emotions is not healthy. I live on the West Coast where people will smile at you yet stab you in the back but I used to live in NY and I do miss the big apple. I'll take some honest in your face interaction any day over some passive aggressive bs LOLI
Forgive me I am salty and hating.
The place where I manage at the hotel has 6 mentally challenged people who stay here. They are in a program to help them get them back on track. While they are not homeless without this program they would be because they lack the skills to survive. I have took a couple under my wing and helped them move up the ladders. One got an apartment another a job. Young kids too. It is NOT required I do that yet why shouldn't I? The young kid I helped get a job was an alcoholic when I first started working with him so I took him around late at night after I got off of work and showed him the bums and how he was going to end up. Scared STRAIGHT. Yet I have tried a few and no go not ready to change and happy to mooch off the system. So I do know your frustrations. I have another one lined up and he is a mess and my first goal is to get him to keep his room clean. His room is like serial killer scary.Nothing wrong with being salty and "hating" as long as you use it as a catalyst for your work and don't let it consume you. You are angry, you are hungry, go for it.
I have been working with homeless people for the past decade as a worker in a homeless shelter, as a community organizer and as an advocate. Sometimes, I get so angry that I could choke but I use it as a motivation to keep on fighting for what I believe is right.
We all know that the system is crooked and that the big boys cheat, lie and steal but this does not mean that we cannot make ourselves a nice little corner in the sun. It just means that as people of limited financial means, we've got to be persistent and creative. You have plenty of spunk and knowledge and I truly believe that you'll make it. Never give up!
