Hey, wanted to ask that my site's broken link were indexed so we commanded it to be non-indexed which they did get non-indexed but still they are on the internet, does anyone know why is it happening and what is the solution??
Also how to get rid of these broken links??

I think your link is just removed no de-indexed, get a complete list of back links and short list them based on DA/DR other metrics too, submit the final list to disavow only easy way you get rid of bad/broken links.
 
hey thanks for the reply, the thing is that all our broken links have been removed from the search console, however they are live on google. As a result our bounce rate is quite high. If we disavow it will remove our domain and not just the URL. Am I right or is there anything else to it?
Also, I don't know what to do with these removed broken links
 
You should remove them from Google Search Console.
 
When you set links to Non-indexed, search engines stop showing them in search results, but they may still exist on the internet because they haven’t been removed from the website or other sites still link to them. To fully remove broken links, you need to delete them from your site or fix them. You should also use a 301 redirect to point old links to the right page, and request removal from Google's index using the Remove Outdated Content tool.
 
You can check broken links in your website from Ahrefs Tool and disavow them
 
Need to fix the broken links, Check the backlink profile and filter the broken links. Use GSC to remove them or update them. It will improve your SEO and user experience.
 
Use a tool like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEMrush to identify and fix the any internal links .if you cannot remove spam backlinks that are pointing to broken pages, you can use Google’s Disavow Tool
 
You’ll need to reach out to the sites linking to those broken pages and ask them to update or remove the links. You can also set up 301 redirects from those broken URLs to relevant content on your site, so any remaining traffic or link juice isn’t lost.
