Bringing down the competitors???

Hi,

I got this cunning idea while reading the threads in this forum.

What if I blast 10000 links daily for week using SB and XR for my competitors url? Will they get sandboxed ? So I can come front? The sites I am talking about are not high authority sites. Just a wordpress blog or clickbank salespage? I am having competitors like that only..

I know this looks very cunning, and will piss off lot of people if I do... but I just wanna know.. What if someone do this for my website?

you know what happened to jcpenney lately... Can some one spam a highly authority site and bring it down?

Forgive me if this was dumb, I am a newbie

JC penny were caught buying links, and not for Xrumer blasts. There is no guarantee that Xrumer or SB blasts would get competitor site in sandbox, and even if they did then it is very likely that those sites would come back to top position after a while and it would become even harder for you to replace them.

ya.. But jcpenney are telling that only we didnt buy links. It was the seo company who spammed... i know jcpenney is lying. But what if it was true.? How google can findout.?

Google Algo is unable to differentiate between a paid link and a natural link, since the HTML code is the same in both. This is why they have the option in Google Webmaster to report bought links as this would assist them in finding such culprits. Even if someone reports a website, Google manual editors would still have a tough time verifying this.

JCPenny were reportedly buying links from some Youtube channel owners, paying them in exchange of a link and a review. They also had more of such "Link Baits" of "link Farms" going on. All of this was done by their SEO agency, which they fired after this was exposed.

However, the fact remains that link buying works provided you do it in a way which stays under the radar. Also the frequency of such links should not be too high. This is something over which Google simply does not have enough control.

Jeez, what a great idea! I haven't heard this idea since well...yesterday. Amazing how this stupid ruse resurfaces every day by the noobs.

Here's a novel idea: why not add the 10000 backlinks to your own site? Not all in one shot but as you add pages. Think positively rather negatively, you'll get farther in life!

Yeah bringing down the competition rather than focusing on your own SEO is something really tricky.. In any business either you make your business a successful one or lower down the level of others...so i think this is a smart idea....

I would never do this, the risk vs reward is too small. This is what will probably happen

If you blasted his site with 10k links a day for 21 days...
7 days in: Your competitor will likely drop to page 5-7. Sweet!
14 days in: Your competitor is now on page 4 and steadily climbing at around 4 positions a day
21 days in: Your competitor is now at the #1 spot with 210,000 back links more than he had before. So you report him to Google for blackhat practices.

(Assuming everything goes according to plan)
35 days in: His site has been de-indexed (although this is unlikely).
45 days in: Your competition has spoken with Google and let them know what happened. Google then nullifies 75% of the backlinks and re-indexes him.
~55 days in: After a week of the "Google dance" your competitor is back at #1 with 52k more back links than he had before.

Not the best result.

I am not going to waste my time building links for my competitor sites... I asked this question for educational purpose only.

I wanted know whether someone can do like this and ruin a site... I think I got the answer now... Thanks..

this is such 8itch 8hit. if i were a mod this would be the highest crime you could commit in the forum. i've been trying to get my video to the front page of google for 3 weeks, but im not hiring people on fivver to flag my competition.

here is a transliteration of the op's post. "i cant compete in the only industry left in the world that has a level playing field, and so i will take what someone else worked for because i already know i have failed".

go see if you can say that in the mirror and if you can - visit fivver. theyll click his ad's until he's banned, then you scrapebox his backlink with kiddie porn anchors, flag his videos and you'll still be a failure and he'll still come back stronger.

According to google you can't do anything to hurt your competition. Likewise, your competition can't do anything to hurt your sites. At least thats what google says. Thats why its important to monitor your sites for quality. You can, however, get your site penalized for stuff YOU put on your site. So if you are buying/selling links make sure its low key/behind closed doors.

I am sure there is always loop holes to penalize your competition by using google's algo but I don't know any.

However, there are other ways you can hurt them. One method is to get their advertising accounts banned. If they use google adsense then you can buy paid traffic, click bomb their ads, or pay people to click their ads. Google will say, "wtf?" and either temporary ban their account or investigate it. Most of the time they will just ban because most of the time its the webmaster themselves doing the clickfraud not some competition.

Bottom line: I'd just focus on seo for your own site and beat them that way.

Your just scared he's going to snipe you out and then you will sit here wondering what to do because your sites no longer rank. If you think this is immoral then stay in the white hat section and stop complaining.

THE REAL FACTS:
- Yes knocking out / getting your competitors ban does run some risks
- Depending on your method it could backfire, NOT in all cases though. Think smart

- Yes, it is 100% possible though can take a few months or less depending on the approach you take. There are several ways.
- No, I will not tell you how to do this.

Yes there is a way to kill smaller websites with xrumer. It won't work on any authority website.

google can't distinguish who creates links, so..

if you can get your own site deindexed by blasting it with spammy links, then you can do the same to a competitor.

if a competitor can rise in the serps as a result of you blasting him with spammy links, then you can do the same to yourself.

but.. some people seem to believe that blasting yourself with spammy links will deindex you while blasting your competitor with spammy links will benefit them. this makes absolutely no sense

and yea, you're free to do whatever the hell you want to your competitors regardless of what a bunch of people on a forum think about your moral integrity.
