Hello, everyone. I just found out that Google has released a new tool for it's browser. Here is the official description:

"Check My Links" is an extension developed primarily for web designers, developers and content editors and SEO's.When you?re editing a web page that has lots of links, wouldn?t it be handy to be able to quickly check that all the links on the page are working fine? That?s where Check My Links" comes in. "Check My Links" quickly finds all the links on a web page, and checks each one for you. It highlights which ones are valid and which ones are broken, simple as that. HTTP response codes and full URLs of broken links are published in the Console log.

This tool can be used for bringing dead links back to life. For instance, you can generate a list of broken links from blogs and link pages. Then you contact the webmasters and ask them to replace the links with a new one, leading directly to your page.

Another idea is to look at the actual pages that are broken, then find the original content that was being linked to and recreating the content on your own site. Afterwards, just contact the webmaster to update the links to your new and improved content.

    Any thoughts? :cow_yello
