    As you all know facebook removed the "suggest to friends" button on our fanpages. I saw this video on youtube that brings this feature back by installing an app aka FBML page.

    Check it out!

    I played with this idea the day removed the link. I was limited in selecting 8 friends at a time and only able to send 3 lots of invites out.

    They are suppose to be lifting the low limits for suggest apps. Suggesting apps is not the same thing. If you use the FBML and have it suggest, it will be suggesting FBML, and they will be liking FBML.

    You need to get your own app, then change the FBML id to yours, our just put the normal code in yourself on your website and put it into the tab.

    And as I said, they are liking the app, not the fan page. If they accept the app invite, they will go to the apps landing/fan page.

    <fb:request-form
    method="post"
    type="YOUR FAN PAGE NAME HERE"
    invite="true"
    content="Check out YOUR FAN PAGE HERE on Facebook!<fb:req-choice url='YOUR FAN PAGE URL HERE' ' label='GO' /> ">
    <fb:multi-friend-selector actiontext="Invite Your Friends" rows="3" showborder="true" />
    </fb:request-form>

    I made one change to this line

    <fb:multi-friend-selector actiontext="Invite Your Friends" cols="3" rows="3" showborder="true" />

    Otherwise it was too wide for the page.

    I am getting the same problem, and as said above it only invites friends to the FBML app. Has anyone found any solutions to these problems?

    Same issue, and when it does go through and the person accepts it does nothing noticeable (unless I'm missing something). It didn't redirect me to the fan page or anything of the sort. It just brought me back to the homepage with no trace of the fanpage.

    And even if I am missing something, with the invite it says the user is being invited to static fbml, not the fan page. All in all, I like the idea and what's trying to be done, but definitely not something I would use at this point.

    Seems to work for me, but limits to 8 people. Did it only allow people to do this 3 times? If not, a macro could be programmed to automate it perhaps?
