Brave Rewards Auto-Contribute Enabled By Default!

Check the auto-contribute setting for your browser now!

Publisher and creator payments go out on the 3rd of April.

I am using the DEV version of Brave Browser and just happened to check the Brave Rewards page and noticed Auto-Contribute was turned on. I keep this off, so one of their updates turned it back on.

This is not the first time this has happened.

FYI - The default setting for auto-contribute is 20 BAT.

So, every 3rd of the month users of brave will deduct it from their wallet right ?.
Som threads I read, they dont recomend to turn it on because it will lessen your rewards.

People not paying too much attention to the donations... they have to make it effective somehow. It's a brilliant idea and a great browser.

Are you sure you turned it off ? I use Brave for 4-5 months and this hasn't occurred to me. Auto contribute is ON as a default setting when you install Brave , but after I turned it off the first time it has stayed like that

Same thing here. Been using it for nearly 12 months and Auto Contribute is still turned off.

Keep in mind I did say I was using the DEV version. Its prone to more bugs than the BETA version and stable release version.

I do not think that a renowned project like brave will be doing something like this.
