Brave BAT rewards

Do you use Brave rewards and provided KYC for an uphold account ?

I'm using brave myself because i love the browser over any other.Am collecting passivly some rewards but am not using them because i won't provide my info to get an uphold account for these kind of peanuts.


Would love to know how others are thinking

Uphold is not available in my country :weep:
 
I am using last 4 or 5 months but still don't know how to earn BAT :) But i like the browser, it's easy and friendly for me.
Still 0 BAT :)
 
I used Brave rewards, but I got bored of it. It became spammy and I decided to disable them. Didn't make enough money to be worth my mental.

I still use the Brave browser.

You have to click on the rewards button and then there's an option to see up to 5 ads per hour.
The ads are notifications, so you need to make sure they are not disabled in your OS settings.
Whenever a notification pops up, you automatically earn a very small amount of BAT.
You don't need to click on the notification, you just need to see it.
However, don't expect to make big money, IMHO the earnings are so low it's not worth to be bothered with notifications.
Still a great browser though, especially on mobile.
 
Am a bit astonished that nearly 60% of bhw members gave their KYC to uphold.
Seems like privacy has no value to them anymore.
 
Bad luck for me that its not available for cashout from uphold into Indian bank account.

I did the same with all crypto exchanges I trade on. Why should we discriminate these unknown individuals? :)

I have an uphold account, but it's barely anything. You can also sign up as a creator, which is something I did, and pay yourself. I have brave on my desktop and mobile phone. You can use other wallets, if I am not mistaken but check their FAQ.

Doesn't a creator account also need KYC ?

Go to Setting and Turn On Rewards. Basically they will show you ads while browsing (which respects your privacy) and pay you for seeing them
 
Yeah, browser is fast and responsive unlike google chrome which keep getting laggier for me.
From setting, burger icon, go to brave rewards and turn on ads. Click the setting icon on that same option and set to 5 ads per hour.

Use your browser as usual.
 
uphold asking for SSN. are you serious. no way im gonna share my info. i have 50 Bat on my CB wallet. I wish they could just transfer it there.

Ive made 1.79 USD this month...for me its about being able to watch u-tube videos without being bombarded with ads.
 
Its awesome no ads...but Im down to 1.67 USD...WTF?
