Branded anchor text to internal pages?

People suggest to use mostly branded anchor text when building backlinks. Does this also apply to inter pages and posts? If my website is carpetking .c0m and I am doing branded anchor to the home page it would clearly be carpetking. Now, if I build links to my inner posts, would i still use carpetking as the anchor text to inner pages as well?

of course! But still, don't use only branded anchor texts. Mix and match with naked URLs, with exact / partial match keywords, generic anchor text, and so on. There's no exact science to this, especially since google changes their ranking factors on the fly and many times throughout the year, but generally, if you keep your exact match anchor texts to less than 10% you should be good
 
You can use both branded and also normal keyword. Keyword should be high search volume and low competition words which will boost your ranking. you can make use of keyword research for better idea.
 
@tazarbm Like what he said, you can’t use only the branded anchor text in both your home as well as inner pages, it may lead to Google penalization. There is a wide variety of anchor text, you can use all types- generic, naked, exact or partial, image, LSI anchor text. By using these all-anchor types, your site will be natural and your site authority will get increased.

Branded anchor and naked URL are working well, but make sure you are not only using branded keywords, you have to use branded anchor, naked url, money keyword, and other LSI keywords.
