I have 2 domains.

1 is in this format [state][industry]

like californiainsuranceagents.com

the other

[product name][keyword]
ipadreview.com

Once both get to #1 on google, given that the monthly searches are over 3million and it wont be hard. What is the best way to estimate the price to ask for.

Given I can sell 6 ads at a monthly cost of $600,500,400,300,200,100 etc.

Ad in header = 600
5 other ads in other slots = 500,400,300,200,100

I need 40k for a large purchase, I have about 10 of these domains slowly creeping up in google. I want to get the most per domain and I am tempted to create sites based around the highly searched domain names to sell the entire site whose value is worth more than just a domain name + hosting

The best way to determine the price of your adspace should be your niche + amount of traffic. As long as your domain name is relevant it shouldn't matter.

If your catering to say a dentist a single lead could bring them thousands of dollars, therefore you can charge more to them then say a guy who fixes ipods.

Also you need to determine how much traffic you are getting to your sponsors, if they only get a lead a week you won't be able to charge them as much as a lead per day.

When I do hit #1 in google under a month, I estimate the traffic to be 3mil searche based on google keyword tool, position 1 is 80% or so of the traffic, then using chartbeat.com which lets me track stats in real time I can hopefully ask for a high price. Also, my gmaps listing for the site/business is live and working.

Currently its autoblogged as I work on the actual site template and figure out the best way to create a site worth flipping.

Ad revenue estimates at $2100 for the 6 ad slots monthly.
