When creating a website around a niche. Let's say Internet Marketing for example. Do you build the brand or the person creating the content?
In regards to social media accounts. You could have twitter, g+, youtube, facebook all be awesomesite.com username related or you could use your actual name and people would just associate you with the brand.
I ask this because I would buy stuff from a person, not from a brand unless it has some type of authority. I would buy from Amazon or Bestbuy, but not from Joe Smith selling the same phone.
Just curious on thoughts for branding in social media in relation to driving sales. I guess SEO can get a little messy if you don't pick one or the other too. For example, if you Google "Grant Cardone" (popular sales/motivation guy) You get all of his social profiles, books, courses etc. I guess he is the brand?
Any links, courses or books on branding you could point me too would be appreciated.
Thanks!
