Brand-new sites & TOP 100 positions

How long your brand-new sites get TOP 100 positions for main medium competitive keywords (for example: best ..., ... review) with search volume about 500 monthly?
I have 5 brand-new sites (absolutely separated) with at least one review article with 3K+ words (different writers).
No one of them didn't get TOP 100 position for main keywords during the first month (added to GWT).

Increased the article numbers and do some backlink and social share, Hope position will be improved

Build Few Quality Diversify Links (Web 2.0, PBN, Article...etc). Its Not Hard To Get Rank in Top 100

1. Write Quality 20+ unique article
2. Do some quality backlinks
3. Do some Web 2.0 for every backlinks
4. Share on Social Media get some social signals

If you follow this hope you'll gain top 100 positions

Get rank in TOP 100 is easy, I thought all I need for that ranking is quality content + On-page (I did it good). Or I was wrong?

Heres my limited knowledge so far...

All new sites enter Google Sandbox and play there for few months unable to rank for anything 99% of the time...
Backlinks and Anchor Texts make up 95% of the game...

Quality Content without Backlinks and Anchor Texts is waste of time...

Having Backlinks and Anchor Texts with shitty spammy content is waste of time cause user just exits the page and your bouncerate shoots up and time spent on your site also decreases... proving to google... irrelevant content...

Proper link building takes time, money and patience, creativity and god knows what else...
Only if you are Soooo creative and entertaining that your video goes viral, does content matter more than building backlinks because the backlinks will come naturally!

Top 100 took me a few weeks. Top 10 took me years though.
