Brand new EMD or Aged Authority non-emd with some backlinks ?

ok, so I am making a new site and I plan on pumping HQ content on a daily basis revolving around one keyword.

So would it better for long term if I start a brand new EMD site PR0

OR

about 5 year old domain with backlinks related to my keyword PR2

I would go with the aged one if it's suitable.

The second option, even if it's not that aged and not that high authority. It's still infinitely better than just an emd alone.

Same approach as always, though - check link profile, and previous content...

Ive heard people talking about expired domain ranking issues as money sites. Have no experience with this yet myself though

Second option definitely, just check it thoroughly before starting, if is good than go for it.

Go with the aged domain mate

Try to build the lost pages by finding an older version of the site from archive.org and google.
