I know you can buy expired domains, but I purchased a few brand new, keyword rich domains that I wish to build on.

However, the sandbox effect is something that all of us want to avoid, so I want to know how would you experts go about promoting a brand new micro-niche domain (say 5-10 pages max).

In a nutshell, this is my plan of attack. However, I have some doubts and I welcome any constructive criticism

  1. Write 4-5 articles and submit them to the top 4-5 article directories.
  2. Use s_box to find a few high PR GOV/EDU blogs to comment on manually.
  3. Find a few high PR relevant blogs to comment on manually.
  4. Social bookmarking run to the 10-15 most popular sites.
  5. Build a few web 2.0 buffer sites and build links to them.
  6. Don't ping the links - wait for them to be found naturally.
  7. After 2-3 months, step up s_box commenting for more automation

How does this look? It seems for new domains you must get a certain level of trust from a handful of GOOD links before you can go out there and automate for a high quantity of links.

But, what about EDU or GOV no_foll0w links - are they of any use or does G ignore them? Is it worth it to scan through tons of URLs to spot the d0_f0llow blogs or just set up a small s_box blog comment run with relevant comments, knowing most will be n0foll0w?

your plan of attack seems pretty good but in my opinion you should start blasting your site immediately. 500 links a day. you will probably get sandbox / google dance for a week or 2 but once your site comes out of that junk its ranking will be much better. there is no point in waiting to blast so i say blast away. just make sure you dont "over do" it though. i hope this helps

also, check this thread to learn more about what i am talking about http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...myths-truths-re-blasting-new-sites-links.html
