I've been trying to replicate the 'Cal AI strategy' for TikTok marketing. That is having a collection of brand ambassador type accounts that don't overtly advertise a product, rather follow a users journey with the brand and subtly showing their usage of product where it's relevant. I've produced a set of talking head style AI videos, and green screened them over stock clips etc. Dropping these vids on my main brand TikTok got so little engagement (watch time terrible, low view count ~ 200, and abismal CTA follow thru). Today I spun up a fresh account on browser with VPN to EU region and think it immediately got shadow banned (cannot follow / like anything), tried to follow my main profile and think I fucked that over too (now my latest video got 0 views ). I think Cal AI hired real people to make profiles & content for them, but with low budget tried to do it myself and think I screwed myself over.

Do you think my main acct is going to be perma-banned? I'm even running ad spend there. It was just so disheartening to put all the effort into producing & editing a video (okay AI script and avatar, but editing it to something cohesive in Premier Pro took time).

I'd rather not to spend on a separate Android device & mobile proxy for each of my personas, all the time for manual acct warm-up with no guaranteed return on investment. What's my most cost effective strategy I can employ here? Any advice?

It sounds like TikTok flagged your setup too fast, AI content needs a softer, human touch to blend in.

Your main account likely isn’t perma-banned, just throttled, pause risky behavior and avoid linking fresh burner accounts directly. For low-budget Cal AI-style, focus on fewer high-quality personas using warmed aged accounts or hire cheap creators via Fiverr/Upwork. Avoid AI avatars for now, they hurt trust and watch time.
