Brainstorming how to schedule posting/ automate interactions on single account

My biggest issue has always been consistency with posting so I am looking for a API to allow me to schedule posts and attach them to my content pipelines. I've looked at a few github repositories and they seem to deal in scraping rather than posting/interactions. Currently my plan is use some script to post based of the position of buttons but before I begin implementing this thought I might ask if I'm missing an easier path since commenting and other more complex interactions will be finicky to make functional.
I don't think I'll have to deal with bans(?) since I won't be spamming nor posting on hundreds of accounts.
