hello BHW,

i am working with a b2b product line in the beauty industry. while the majority of our clients are out of work/decomissioned for the time being i am doing what i can to compile some ideas to re-engage our audience.

currently, we launched a new professional-only affiliate program. certified professionals in the niche can sign up and receive 50% retail revenue, while their referrals get 15% off+free shipping.

in addition, we are running a weekly cash giveaway for licensed professionals in the niche.

however, i am still looking for new ideas that we can use this opportunity to 'go against the grain' so i am opening this up to all of you intelligent men/women.

what are some ideas or concepts you might suggest for a b2b beauty product in our current state of affairs? i am open to any and all ideas, and i will diligently follow up on any leads you suggest. thank you in advance. (we do sell b2c but it's not emphasized as it creates tension with our professionals, that being said we are not ruling b2c out at this point so feel free to suggest anything).

best,

Well, I don’t know much about this industry but think about this - there is definitely going to be a massive influx of businesses and entrepreneurs in the beauty niche that are moving to online channels, YouTube, social media etc.

Make attractive deals for them, offer some help, branding packs, guidelines, how to guides etc to help them and take advantage of that somehow. Good way to get promotion, backlinks, shares, sales etc.

Basically look for the upside to this situation and leverage it.

yes, i totally agree thank you for the insight. we have some amazing professional talent on staff to leverage some 'how to' instructional type of videos. i am of the belief that being as useful to people as possible through education will prove to be fruitful in the long run. i will get started on getting instructional content, thank you.

Franchise, let others deal with customers while you just ship them your product and get your royalty paid.
