Brag Moment

Although school grades isn't my cup of tea, I totally understand why you 're feeling so happy - so congratulations :)

He wants to be a doctor or a shrink. But I have a strong feeling that he is going to end up in finance. Ever since he was little, I have had that feeling.

Sorry, but if he is not very sure which way to go now, then that could make it difficult for him in far future... I hope that he chooses the very right career-path, walking on which he (and his family) would be very comfortable, happy, content, and of course wealthy. May be this is the right time to help him carefully choose it.

He loves both equally. He wants to be a doctor and a stock broker. But finance has always run through his blood since he was four years old. He is going to do the EMT course next summer to get a taste of the medical field.

oh ok :( :frusty:

She's pretty, smart, can cook like you wouldn't believe, and is climbing up the ladder of success. But it will take a special kind of man to deal with her. She is a tornado. And loud. Very loud. She came out screaming and hasn't stopped since.

My son just checked online and his grades came in. He made the Dean's List! The kid who always hated school got all A's in his second year of college! I'm a proud mama today.

Congratulations to the both of you, success must run in the family ;).

Hey redrubies:

Congratulations to you and your son.
You have every right to be proud. :)

Cheers! - "Wiz"

I have to admit I clicked on the title because I thought this was going to be another IM success story.

Congratulations to the both of them! Here's hoping they get to do whatever they want to when they grow up.

I've never had the good fortune of being able to do the things I love until now. My grades were really good when I was in school, which meant I had to be an engineer or a doctor. Don't ask, that's just how it is in my country. I'm an engineer now. I quit my job 2 years ago because f*ck it, I never wanted to be an engineer in the first place.

You only live once (#YOLO). Die doing what you love. Sorry about the rant.
