Brad Callen's new blog network seolinkvine leaves a not so smart footprint.

It is pretty simple to find the participating blogs in this network just by searching or scraping "posted by seolinkvine"

here is a sample of blogs that participate in the network, by checking some of them, they look like new blogs that doesn't have much power to provide a significant SEO benefit.

Thank you, I was thinking about using this service. I will stick with the Link Juicer instead.
The concept of spreading your articles with links into blog networks is good, it is just there are better networks (that keep your links under the radar) and at least one of them has a free membership - FTS (free traffic system). FTS has a paid membership as well but the free is pretty good to start with, especially if you don't submit a lot of articles every month.

Thanks for the alert !

I was curious to know the quality of the blogs...

But I am still joining SEOlinkvine...:)

Its good to have a mix of low pr blogs and moreover contextual links are very very effective despite a low pr page...

I agree that having a mix of link sources is good. You can use more established blog networks that already matured to have more benefits from your links.

SEOLV does *not* post such a footprint.

The "posted by seolinkvine" is from users from the BETA who made an account on their OWN blog "seolinkvine" for SLV postings. (Of course, it cannot get any dumber than this.)

SEOLV itself does NOT put any footprints, and they also now disallowed for people to use "seolinkvine" as name.

I was a bit sceptical of the quality of this network, but then again, you never know until you try it out or until some more feedback comes in. Gonna look into FTS mentioned in an earlier post (have not heard of that before now). Also, IMHO if you have the $ I'd stick with LinkVana. It is expensive, but private and full of TOP quality blogs. I've ran that service for a while with great results.

I'm glad to know that now they instructed their blog network but they should have some kind of control when they approve blogs.

I'm sending you a PM regarding FTS

Well you know if you have a blog you can assign whatever username to a author...but to be honest the ones who chose "seolinkvine" are probably not the brightest anyway :)

I think their biggest problem is that all their posts go into your default category. I don't know if they have changed this or not, but they could have put some effort into it so you could map categories like other similar blog networks let you do.

beware of this, because sometime the owner of blogs was deleted your links, because i have experience with Free Traffic System. FTS says that my article was published in 30 blogs, but after i check manually, half of my link are gone, and i do not know how its come. In my opinion, the owner of blogs was deleted the links and the article was published in their blogs.

so be careful.

Yes - find the same - glad you brought this up - although it does depend on the niche.

My forex ones normally stick to about 20 of the 30, whilst penis related ones don't!

Was thinking about using SEO vine but he (his support team) never replied to a single question I posted on his site, or any of the other replies for that matter - even emailed their support staff but they never replied.

Just simple things like "I have 30 articles in this niche - do you cater for this niche?" - not a murmur. That wound me up a bit.

Communication is EVERYTHING if you're asking your client to fork out $47 a month.

Plus I think it's far too steep - you write an article, spin it then submit it - i saw his vids - when you get the hang of spinning it's not all that and I seriously don't reckon he has the worlds greatest spinning tool which he was arguing is full proof. Everything has to be humanly reviewed at the end of the day or it just doesn't read well.

He should monetize it differently, make it cheaper and more transparent - like what was the site he managed to get to number 1 - otherwise it's just hearsay. Least FTS are open about their sites which they used their system to rank well with.

Got that off my chest.

Will stick with FTS - it's worked for me so far and its free.

(yes, these links are my affiliate links, feel free to use them to signup or google the sites if you don't want me to credit for my honest review and referral ;))

Don't think your allowed to include aff links with only 30 posts - I got banned once - might want to edit..

I am testing out Seolinkvine for a month. So far it is easy to use but the spinner flat out sucks (but I didn't expect it to be good).

Something like this may take some time to grow properly and get good blogs in their network.

I did a little dig deeper to find out what's the site that got the #1 on Google as they claim.

Here is the site : http://www.fatlossfactor.com/

Keyword : fat loss factor.

Domain age : a few months ago (just like he said in the video)

Well, I might be right or wrong. If you want to take my words, just copy his strategy by reverse engineering the SEO method (backlinks) he used.

But well if you don't, fair enough. No big deal as I am not losing anything. Lol

WRONG KEYWORD, sorry. The keyword is WAY MORE COMPETiTIVE than "fat loss factor". Its actually one of the "super keywords" and it's rather generic. If he would rank for "fat loss factor" he wouldn't get 6000 UVs a day.

So anyone knows of what is the exact keyword Brad used?

Anyways, i'll be testing this out and will report back in a month or so to see how my sites improve or not during the time period.
