How Does Google Calculate the Bounce rate ?

obviously if you have a cta and the visitor clicks it than it's not abounce but what if you don't have a cta and you only have a blog post let's say your visitor find the answer for his question in the first paragraph and closes the tab

If a visitor lands on your page and does nothing else but close the tab then it it’s considered a bounce.

Bounce rate is usually measured by taking a percentage of users that came to your site and left t without making any activities or triggering any events. As clicks are usually considered as specific events, if someone clicks somewhere and then leaves the site, it won't be considered as a bounce rate and you will only see it in the statistics in the part related to the average session duration that in this case would be pretty short. But bounce rate is a useful parameter for getting the information about those users that didn't do anything on the site and that probably entered it by accident.

Keep in mind that high bounce rates are not alway a bad sign for a website.
