Bounce rate is 3.33%

I'm running a website and GA says its bounce rate is 3.33%. I thought this was extremely low and there might be something wrong with the way GA is configured?

Do you have event tracking set up? check under behaviour/events to see if there are any. If so then based on how you set it up this could be an explanation. If not then guess just good site.

yeah there is events in the overview. I'm not sure how this would relate to bounce rate? Can you please be more specific?

My guess is that its because of that module. It doesn't need to be designed to reduce the bounce rate, it can be a side affect to how it works. All it takes is to module to communicate with GA every x seconds so GA knows that user is still on the page.
 
It's not rare for a site to have a low bounce rate like that. It all depends on the niche and how relevant your page seems to the visitor.
 
You saw that you have more than 6 pageviews per session. Thats is what bounce rate is all about. The more the pages per session, the lower should be bounce rate. People landing on a page and then exiting without going into other pages ought to give high bounce rate. GA should be factoring the time spent per page also in the bounce rate calculation though. I am not a GA expert, so you don't need to take my words. Thanks

As a poster above mentioned that you can lower bounce rate by communicating to GA after every few seconds. I had been doing this for 2 or more years and it lowers the bounce rate. Recently I removed that stuff because it doesn't give any considerable ranking improvements for me, atleast (again no Google expert)

I think the module is working okay. I have other websites that are using the same module and their bounce rate is 70%+.

I've never seen it before. The niche is sex toys.
 
Bounce rate can be low if you call _trackEvent, make sure to set the forth var to 'true'. Otherwise will count as an interaction and effect bounce rate.
