Bought two HIgh Ranking EMD's

I recently purchased two EMD's. One has 2.7 million global monthly searches and the other 1.5 million. Both have low competition. I haven't decided how I am going to monetize them yet though. What would you guys do in this type of situation?

I was thinking of maybe just writing up some quick Informational pages about the niche, throw some CPM ads up, wait and going from there.

Adsense? Clickbank maybe? Depends on the keywords. Can't really tell this way.

2. see there's only few searches
3. if you saw "low" competition on google adwords tools, it means nothing for SEO
 
Are they product related emds? If yes, then you can start being an amazon affiliate or an affiliate of the product.
 
I would definably throw some adsense on a site with that many searches. Maybe some amazon and other applicable products too?

First check the exact match searches, pretty sure that these get a few hundred searches per month only.

Then see if they are still worth developing,

So basically these domains I just bought are basically worthless? Because your right, when I uncheck global and check exact the number is very small.. Are there any value to these?
 
Atleast you caught it now. Imagine building the site, spend time on back linking, finally rank #1.... And no traffic.

You learned a valuable lesson in keyword research.
 
what its worth is the knowledge that you have to check for exact searches... now you know.. don't make the same mistake again! :)
 
Yeap, people do this mistake sometimes, that will be a good lesson for other people :) You mentioned you bought those EMD's? So the person who sold you theese scammed you :)
 
just as Th0rr said, "exact match" on Google Keyword tool is what you are looking for when gathering information about potential traffic to your site. Also remember that the number is not 100% accurate and that the number will be split amongst the 10 sites on the first page as the no1 ranked site gets around 50% (up to 60% if it's deemed by Google as an authority site. An authority site has a few links under the URL that point to it's inner pages) and then the % of clicks decreases as you go down the list.

So if the number is 100 (easy maths), then for a no 1 ranked site you would expect to get around 50 visitors a month.

Also, when you look at the competition in the Google keyword tool, you want to be looking for medium and high as this competition is for advertisers bidding on the keyword for Adwords purposes. Low competition simply means that there are not many advertisers bidding for that keyword and will probably have a low Cost Per Click, so that isn't good for you if you put adsense up on your site.

No it's not. I am running a case study to show people that you don't need emds to earn. Post some articles on that site - 50 to 60 and then build links to them and see if you earn or not.
 
Basically just focus on launching the site and getting it 'out there'.

Once you receive traffic, try AdSense then affiliate or the other way around. It's all good!
