Ok so i bought a couple of pokemon*.com domains.. Some are really good but as i understand it there a problem with the pokemon trademark..

So what can i do with these sites? And what cant i do? Is it possible to do affiliate work on these sites or should i just get rid of them and get new ones without pokemon in them?

first of all why the hell you are buying domains without having an idea what to do next with them?

as pokemon go is trending now you can make big use of these domains, maybe design very nice pokemon t-shirt and use ads for quick traffic, make sure that you target your demographic very well as kids are not going to buy them (unless theyre parents buy for them) - target older pokemon fans whom are ready to buy instantly. You can monetize with CPA as well, the possibilities are endless. I know one guy who made $400 profit just today by re-selling pokemon accesories. Not sure about refund rate yet lol, I guess it is going to be little bit high as some people are very impatient and there is no way that everyone is going to wait out solid two three weeks to receive some pokemon thing from China. Although with such sales volume I am certain that he is going to leave with a very lovely stack of cash.

You bought a bunch of domains but have no idea what to do with them? lol.

Host them offshore, you'll be fine. If not, you have the risk of them getting taken down in the future. It's a decision you need to make based on what you're prepared to lose/give up.

I think yall misunderstood me i have a pretty good idea what to do with them but i diddnt really think of the trademark issue. So im asking what would be legal/suitable to do with these domains considering the trademark thing..

Thanks for your replys, ill check that other thread aswell.

host them with good offshore hosting. make sure that your details on domain registrant are fake, even if you have whois and you are good to go. Worst case scenario your domain will be taken from you. And never use GoDaddy for ventures like this as they are very strict with such things. You will not even have time to blink when you will see your domain name being drifting away from your account

    1. I don't do coaching/consultations, sorry. SEO isn't something that can be coached overnight - and even if it were, I wouldn't be offering it.

    2. I have my own niches for Pokemon on the go just now so not looking for more.

    3. Good luck!

"I have my own niches for Pokemon on the go just now so not looking for more."

Read it again and you'll understand what I was saying. I know the game is called Pokemon Go.

Not sure what's so confusing about it. I just showed it to a bunch of people on Skype and everyone figured out what I was saying :p

    In another context:

"I have my niches for Clash Of Clans on the go just now so not looking for more".

"on the go" = something being done.

I'm not sure if I can explain it any better :)

Yea, the links definitely helps. I have never heard of the phrase "on the go" in that context which is why I was probably confused. I only knew "on the go" as like "laptops will help you do your job *on the go*(like while moving)".

Anyways, gotcha, thx for the links.
