Bought a domain earlier that on the historic has 19/14 TF/CF at root and 15/6 at www but didn't notice until I'd already paid the broker (not much at all) and registered it that the fresh is 0/4 at the root and 0/10 at the www

It only has 3 ref domains and lost 1 of those on the 9th of Sept

I was thinking of building out a bunch of social profiles so I could get at least get TF up to 10 and get some use out of it?

There's no spam history or problems in wayback

I don't want to sound like an ass, but, I guess the lesson simply is that you should check it more thoroughly next time before buying :)
Just be thankful that it wasn't a $900 domain that turned out to be 'not like the picture on the box' :)

Yeah, I meant to post "take it as a cheap lesson learned" also.

Do proper research before purchasing any domain. Always go for domain having 35+ ref domains.

reminded me of my ebay days .. :) .. i once had a guy try to scam me by writing a whole shitload of content on the ebay ad about cisco routers .. about this particular switch .. etc etc ..
and there was even a pic .. i think it was like 6500$ sup720 or some other line card for the 6509 chasis
anyways .. in the end just before the last line .. "* please note you are bidding on a PICTURE of the item "

:) was fun trying and getting money back from paypal on that one.

We've all made mistakes when buying PBN sites. Examples: not indexed, fake PR, historic vs fresh CF/TF, thinking high PA/DA means shit, spammy backlinks/anchor texts.

Just take it as an experience and move onto buying more domains while learning from your mistakes.

Majestic SEO defaults to fresh. Why would anyone check historic?

Probably didn't make it clear when I made the initial post. I actually paid before I even checked the stats, just assuming it would be as advertised I guess.

Dumb, I know. But now I guess I have a clean domain that I can use for testing things on. :)
