honestly I don't even recommend doing this as your main source for accounts though. my accounts that I created myself using Icloud emails have much better longevity than bought accounts. Manually created accounts for me have like a 90%+ retention rate. manually create like 30 accounts and let them all age 15-30 days and you wont have to worry about accounts for a long time. Its not like you need any more accounts than that anyway if you're even reading this. After around 30 days make image submissions to 15k-50k member non NSFW subreddits to get karma.

also, I haven't tried it yet but buying accounts with full browser cookies and importing cookies might work a lot better.

Yes it's better to use cookies and import them to your browser.

Your warmup process it too complicated. If account is flagged, or your setup or proxies are bad - you will be banned even if you warmed it up 7 days, unfortunately.

Sometimes it looks completely random.

Self created aged accounts will almost always outperform bought ones because the trust history is natural from day one
Your biggest edge is account quality and patience not the warmup routine itself so aging fewer clean accounts beats scaling risky bought ones

What are the guidelines for upvotes? How many is it safe to add to a post? Is there a formula for this?

Don't overthink it. Look at the top post on the subreddit, never go above. Look at the last posts of the week, check the upvote average, and go lower. But low is better and make them come slowly.

I dont even do this anymore, but it used to work for a short amount of time until my self created accounts were 30 days old.

so how can someone avoid flagged accounts when buying? My setup and proxies are all good

Well you may ask them to create a test comment on one of their accounts you buy. If account will survive then the seller is fine.
