Bought a Mobile App - Need to Add my Adv Codes - Developer asking for Source Code

I recently bought a mobile app as an investment.
I am not developer myself.

The app is doing fairly well on Itunes and i have to put in my Adv Code in the app and republish on my itunes account

Got hold of a developer on Fiverr, but he is asking for the entire source code , the seller on fiverr is well rated

Is it ok to share the source code of the app or there could be possible negative implications later on?

How do you expect him to edit the app without the source code?

Another thing, I'm pretty sure that your app will be taken down ASAP

Read the BigBuddy's thread but I think, you already did. Google "Buy iOS app source code" As with them you get the right to reuse them and distribute commercially.

I understand that he would need the source code
so the next question is

If he or someone else ever try to upload the same app with a different name or something,that will be taken down or rejected right away?

Sorry to say but Fiverr? you invested in an app and you got a developer from fiverr? Try oDesk or something more real. They will have no problem signing a non disclosure agreement

You'll have to provide the source code for sure.
May be You can post in hire a freelancer to get it touch with a IOS developer from bhw.
Fiverr charge's would be high because he is going to add extra 20% as that's fiverr fee's.
