Hi guys,

I need expert advice of white hats out there. So I end buying a very good email list of 30,000 paid member
from a company who sells related products, hence all emails are genuine and verified.

Now I want to use them promote my product which also quite good professionally built. But legally I don't have
their permission so I guess it would be considered spam. I don't think I can even add those emails on Mailchimp or
Aweber as they would like to know how I got them.

What would be the best way to approach this situation? Is there any alternative? I don't have to email them all at once.
Happy to it in slow batches if that is what it comes down to.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards
Vic

buy a vps and start to spam, just include a "remove subscription" inside the email

As zx123 said, you do not have to tell people how you got their public email address. There are millions of ways. Just do it safely and not pushing too much. If you know they will get conversions then it is best to take action. Just ensure you have a well laid out email letter and ensure there is a remove subscription email option (you can even make it send me an email with the subject as quit).

If you want more information let me know in a PM :)

Thanks Zx123...I already have a VPS but somehow my regular emails do end up in junk folder, even though I never spam from it.

Getting emails in the inbox is the main concern as I know they will definitely convert.

Thanks Falrish, I'll include remove link at the bottom and have a good copy written for it.

Why would you buy a list before knowing what to do with it?

I would just start creating some professional looking newsletters with some informative product information and not go too hard on the sales patter.

This way the recipients would not see this email as the usual junk and want to unsubscribe immediately.

Keeping that 30k list engaged and informed will open them up for future sales and product launches.

something informative related to the product - video ,article, ebook etc... go slow

Yes, definitely go slow.

Build a relationship with your list. Show them love, quality and NOT selling and they won't hate you.

Also, don't email them all at once.

After that, it's down the money street OTrap style.

Well you're on BlackHatWorld... and you bought a contact list off another company... and you are only now concerned about spam?

Man if you didn't want to spam then why purchase the list in the first place?

thanks for the tips everyone. As per all of your advice I would go slow and will only introduce product, brand awareness etc.

One missing piece is the email delivery method. What do you all suggest I should use to deliver emails and make them land in inbox?

For future reference, refer this this thread before any purchases:

Send them a free gift from the same niche you wanna promote later. Ebook, Free advice, How to, etc.

Or send them to a link with valuable information they would consider useful. That way you'll slowly introduce yourself to them and be able to top up conversions later.

There's a different approach for every niche.

Why would you buy a list before knowing what to do with it?

The reason I bought it because I think it is a great deal. The guy who sold it had no clue how much it is worth. I know the power of a great list, I've been doing it for 3 yrs now and its one thing that makes money every time.

In the past I used Interspire but noticed mails didn't end up in inbox even user opt in for the list. Since then I started using Aweber, much better delivery and open rates.

this is a good thread. mark it.

i like send bulk email. and like make friends with other guys who send bulk email.

Here's a fun little experiment I tried: Write them an email about what NOT to buy. Include an affiliate link, but cloak it well. One of two things will happen with those who read your email:

1. They'll feel like building some trust in you for "protecting them."
2. They distrust or dislike you, so they doubt you and buy through your link.

I kid you not. The latter one does happen. Last time I did that, I did about 14 sales on a product I told people NOT to buy.

This is actually a tactic I use to restore faith with my list from time to time. Works as well as any other I've found.

If you're looking for a solid way to mail buy shared hosting with hostgator.

Install interspire (cracked version of course)

install interspire

set throttle to 250 mails/hour

set up bounce email address

mail away.

Will take you a while of course, but it's the best way to inbox if you're not a techy.

You can find cheap shared hosting. LaceHost, for example, offers it for $2 per account.

5 accounts + 250 emails per hour per account = 30,000 emails sent per day ... all for $10 per month!

Email marketing is a numbers game, guys! Don't feel like you have to find one account that can do it all!

I am interested in the email marketing concept. All this is new to me. Subscribed

"Im so proud of myself! I did an hours work and bought a list!!! NOW WHAT???????????"

*facepalm*

I am looking to buy a list. I need 10k to start, if the source and quality of the list is good, I'd be happy to start to purchase in the 100 - 500 region. Hit me up at blimbproof a t g mai l . I'd be happy to hear from somebody who could assist me. I'm not so interested in specific categories just good quality emails.
