I would suggest you to add one more language if possible in translate button. That would be Hindi.
Many people from my country are newbie's and aren't that comfortable with language BHw'ers use. ( This is a personal opinion )

I like it a lot its unique it also gives a count of the amount of people online. I feel its a good step bhw is taking. All we need now is a Harro million dollar button then it will be complete

What do I think about it?

I am noticing a slow down also. I've got 12 megs down and it's still taking an extra couple seconds per page. If there is a way to actually turn it off. Not just minimize it I'm sure some can use it.

The other thing and this is a personal view FWIW. I would be hesitant (read paranoid) to have one of my social bookmarking sites linked to BHW.

Awesome site and I promote it as much as I can, I just don't want it on paper if you will.

HaRRo, I personally like this new addition to bhw I like it so much I have already applied it onto a couple of my own websites, I really like how this gives more of a instant connection between the website and its visitors through a selection of different poplar communication portals such as twitter and facebook.

What I really like the most about it is the fact I can see how many people are on this website at the same time as I am online, all and all though it really does look really nice down there as I don't mind it at all,I prefer it,I Never thought of minimizing it for a second.

I'll like it better when I can turn it 100% off. Until then, can you make it so it minimizes to the left side of the screen? On most threads that's just empty black space after the first couple posts while on the right it's covering up content and links (at least on my netbook screen). Plus, most languages read left to right so it seems a more appropriate place for it to start from/minimize to.

I can see that other people are liking it but I'm not that big of a fan of toolbars.

I do hope that with the search box right in their face, people will start using it and stop asking question that have already been answered a billion times on the forum.

If only that could be.

Alas, I doubt it will make a difference for those questions. I think the reality is that the people we all keep sending to the search bar won't bother using the new one either.
