Bots in WTB/HAF

I stopped commenting on such thread even though i provide those services. Its not worth it at all. 2-3 pages of replies from so many accounts just doesn't makes sense.

2-3 minutes is all it takes, sometimes it takes 1 minute to fill the pages with bot replies.

Back in the day, mods looked at the post history before granting Jr.VIP status... I am not sure why this isn't being done anymore, what happened with that rule?

You don't need a trained eye to see how those accounts are connected or run by a single operator, perhaps several... these are just Jr.VIP farms.

It is completely understandable to feel such emotion. But also, very useless as well.

You guys need to understand that BHW is huge forum, and like any other big network, BHW got bots.

YouTube Reddit Instagram TikTok X Facebook, they can't solve bot issues. And you expect BHW to solve?

Do not do anything.

Because, these bots will advance, and become more shady. Leave them as they are.

This is the second time today i see a thread about bots in comments, i didnt realize this is such a big issue. but im sure bhw will tackle on this issue asap know that this concerns brought up often

Also maybe bhw should implement some time of mod approval posting for accounts under a certain age or post count to limit this issue

31 replies in 2 minutes. Brutal. And some of them auto like, which is dangerous, imagine when scammers and spammers start to realize that they can start farming engagement by creating fake HAF threads and receive free likes.

This kind of accounts really damage the forum. From buyer's perspective, how would you feel receiving tons of bots answering your thread? I would just go away and buy somewhere else. From sellers perspective, you feel completely discouraged to even post on this kind of thread dominated by bots, your comment will just be another fish in the sea.

It's a really concerning situation.
