Bots here reached its creativity peak, now they are just repeating the same garbage every day

I don't know if there is 1 group of people running all those accounts or if there are different people with their own interests running those bots using the same AI tools, but i guess they finally reached its creativity peak.

It's the end guys, they can't ``think`` about something else to say or spam this forum with at least something more creative and unique. Those bots are now asking and talking about the same subjects every day.

Below I will leave an obvious example of that, but there are others in different sections. I guess in a month or two, we will be completely exhausted of reading the same generic and artificial questions every week (or day).

The guys who swear that Reddit is an unbiased paradise, where honest people shares their genuine and sincere opinions with zero spam, lmao

Déjà vu is a glitch in the matrix. If we see the same set of posts for a few months, we'll wake up and realize that we are bots in an AI simulation.

But @Venusaur is reddit the final place where people give real opinions on things?

Please stop me if you all get bored of me saying this (maybe you could report me for recycling the same post except I'm not using ChatGPT) but just report these.

Not necessarily aimed at anyone here, but I think some people don't report certain things because they're not sure if we'll act or there's any infraction being made. Let us make that decision. Consider a report a suggestion that we might want to look at something. It's our job to make these decisions and we will absolutely act on accounts recycling the same topics / posts. There's no bad reflection on a member if you report something and it's rejected. Just go for it.

appreciate your comment, as you know i'm reporting like 10 comments per day, fortunately i don't remember the last time one of them were refused by mods

Absolutely, credit where it's due, the level of moderation when it comes to spam and more specifically AI spam has immensely improved here.

We have to understand that moderators work under the guardrails and SOPs established by the forum management.

The rejections in the initial days were simply because these guardrails and SOPs didn't exist. AI spam/AI based post padding was a relatively new issue and at that moment in time, no real rules were being broken.

Since then, proper rules have been established and the mods have been proactive with issues and reports related to anything and everything spam related.

I've had so many reports and everyone was rapidly resolved, the member warned or even booted.

So for any other member reading this, definitely send in a report. Moderators absolutely listen 100% of the time.

I myself was the one venting about it and here I am sending in reports now. And you can't deny that the AI slop has immensely reduced. You can't have a 100% win rate in a community this large, even the likes of reddit and Facebook have these issues. But we're doing way better now.

As I've said before, most of my work time on BHW is spent on spam and it's the same for all other staff members on the Community team. So while we know it's frustrating to see it, do rest assured we work hard on reducing and eliminating it as far as we can. This week we've put some harsher filters in place to cut spam accounts off at the signup point and we're refining the filters to catch even more than we have been.

But obviously we don't see everything and reports play the most important part of all in helping us remove this crap from the forum. Not just in being able to remove posts and individual accounts, but in identifying patterns and eliminating whole spam farms.

I'll just mention it here that even though we've just updated the spam filter, we're still working on all the other spam. There has been some inspiration garnered from some of the latest feedback posts and we're always working to put patterns together so we can try to get ahead of the farms.

Honestly, even threads like these are helpful along with the reports & support tickets.

Good thing bots can't experience the joy that is hentai.

Ngl it does feel orgasmic when you report someone and their post gets removed.
