Hey guys,
I just recently purchased a Youtube bot and if some of you have not seen the announcements being made Youtube has changed their view counter which in turn made the bot useless. I emailed the company about it and they will not refund my money, is there anything I can do besides spread shit about their site that they have a useless bot or just wait for them to finally figure out a way around the new Youtube counter?

Thanks

Did you use paypal to purchase the software?

If so, dispute it and you will get your money back. PayPal doesn't protect sellers of digital products. If you used a credit card, call the company and tell them its fraud. You woke up, and saw this charge and your like WTF. Make it legit, ask for a new debit card if you have to. If it is paypal, its pretty much as easy as clicking the dispute link. If it is a credit/debit card, you just gotta know what to say and how to say it.

I don't see why they should refund you any money. They put hours of work to develop your bot and it is well known that Google/YT are always changing. IMO you should wait for them to figure something out about the new Youtube counter.

While you have a valid point, any legit seller should have a viable refund policy. If you buy a car, and the wheels fall off on the way home.. should you have to wait until they "figure out a new way to put the wheels on without falling off"? Not really. If you just bought it, and its broken, you should have the option to get your money back. Now if you bought it 3 weeks ago, and it died, that is understandable. While it is a risk you take when buying products online, and especially products which rely on a service out of their control, it should still be a good business practice to offer a refund.

There is a fine line on what is right and what is wrong.

So you would encourage this member to commit fraud himself?
Great advice when you have a penchant for prison food.

What a load of crap! The bot isn't broken. Basically what you are saying
is If you bought a left hand drive car and a day after you bought it
the government decides to change which side of the road you drive on the
car manufacturer is at fault.

Ya but should I be held accountable as a buyer just because YT changed their view count? I will give them a few weeks but besides that I believe I should be refunded...

PS: purchase was made via paypal.

The real question i believe is wheather they know that their software is useless and are still selling it anyway. I am not up to date on youtube but if its a recent thing, perhaps you should talk to them and try to at least find out if they are working on a solution or upgrade. But if its been changed for a while, then they are intentionally scamming people and I would take swift and intensive action to get my money back...becuase that in fact is a scam!

To add to that, its like me releasing software that claims to get you on the top of google in 1 day and then me saying: "Oh, i am not responsible for googles changes...it worked in 1999" I know its a bit dramatic but its jsut the extension of saying they are not responsible for a very important aspect of their product.

The user didn't say when he bought it in relation to when it broke. If he bought the software, downloaded it, installed it, and from the first time opening it realized the bot is broken, then YES he is entitled to a refund. I believe I stated in my post if he bought it 3 weeks ago, as an example of he bought it and got use out of it, then I can see him not entitled to a refund.

The point is, any legit business should have a refund policy. I was forced to have this, and forced to ensure it was easily accessible and viewable by my visitors, as well as a valid mailing and phone number, in order to get a REAL processor (Authorize.NET). So I would say it is for a legit business.

If this guy bought a software, and it was not working when he went to the website and the seller was still accepting orders, then that is fraud. He was selling an item which was not working. You don't throw up a "Buy Now" button, and have people pay and get to the other side just to tell them they have to wait until the seller learns how to program because he can't write a working software.

If he bought it broke, and you support that he shouldn't be entitled to a refund, then you run one shady business. I would rather settle user disputes than have bad business running around, but these mom and pop guys are so desperate to make a buck they would rather rip people off than do what is right.

If the dude bought the software a little while back (a few days, a week, few weeks), then I can see where it would be up to the seller to decide on a refund. But the fact is, if it was broke when he bought it, that is fraud so he would not be committing fraud himself by getting his money back.

So if you support that, then enjoy scamming people for a living because that is bullshit and your business is wack.

Op better wait for update from bot developer. :)

I plan on waiting for them to have some alternate way and updating the software because its not that I do not like the software just that I wish it would work properly.

in simple: most of the times these bots come with "lifetime" updates, but it should be stated somewhere on their sales page, so just sit tight and wait for them to update it
if it isn't the case and they don't feel like updating the bot, you're pretty much fucked

these programmers are skillful guys, but they can't even predict the future...

I see your point there but I guess the OP can figure that out by their replies to the refund request?

why dispute it ? thats retarded, talk to the company and see WTF is up, if they can do some sort of upgrade maybe, or just politely refund your money.

don't EVER dispute shit on paypal without speaking with them first, thats just childish.

Don't wait for them, Dipute it and if they make the software workable later they will tell you to purchase it again right after the refund. This is also a way to force them to do something about it.

I agree the games always changing , i wouldnt refund it either.

True but in this case the wheels didn't fall off, the road simply disappeared. The car probably would still work perfectly well if the landscape hadn't changed.

I have paid out for bots that don't work after a couple of weeks. Crap like that happens but in fairness, that's part of the game. Nobody can guarantee that the sites the bots exploit will remain the same and you can't really expect a money back guarantee for something beyond the software writers control.

Like many here, I have bought SB and its new not-very-efficient YET sister, and the brilliant ARM and all sorts of stuff. The risk when parting with the cash has to be taken on board with eyes wide open. Perhaps these folk will upgrade their stuff so they can sell more. Probably will if they are a genuine bunch. But it's not really their fault is it.

So I am new here to bhw and i was looking to do a youtube cpa campaign similar in style to the one laid out in a post by HARRO. I was going to use tube automator to increase video rankings and such but it now seems to be obsolete. Does anyone know of a good bot to use or should i just buy youtube views?

Well the only thing I was concerned about is that I have not seen the bot in working condition, because ever since I bought it it has not worked. So it would not be as big of a deal if I had seen the bot working, how do I know it even worked before YT was having these problems?

Point is I see both sides but I need the software for client's and I am not going to dispute it on Paypal if they are a decent company at all and will not find a way around whatever is going on with YT then they should refund me.
