Per gig earning and depends on how hard is it to make the bot. Not fixed salary.

its like asking how much money can u make with a blog. the answer is 0 to a million dollars.
you can make some simple x y z bot to automate someone's job for $100.
or more for something complex and you are making them heavy money with the bot.
or you can maintain highly specialized bot for x y z website for $1000 per update. why so much? the people running it are potentially making exponentially more with it.
or u can run a bot to spam some website for $1 to $1000 per day with your unique method.
or make some commercial tool like snapchat bot, tinder bot, tiktok bot etc and sell for monthly subscription. seen snapchat ones floating around for $300-500 per month + set up fee so there is money there if you walk that path.
end of the day it depends on your capability, your network, and what the bot does. overall i recommend you learn because most of the stuff internet marketers do is boring and repetative.
one last thing to consider if you are so interested. identify the bot makers on marketplace and send them friendly pm. maybe they will be nice and talk numbers.
