I just checked my website and noticed that someone, or maybe a bot, registered about 200 accounts. For those familiar with WordPress, how can I prevent this from happening again? Or better yet, how can I control and manage registrations more effectively?

You can add captcha or Cloudflare verification to prevent automated registrations

Captcha the best and number one option, make users verify their register from their email, use a plugin to limit the amount of accounts that can be created per day, try to add custom registration settings where users have to interact to create their account.

Use captcha my bruh. Cloudflare can help too.

You need mitigate this type of attack ASAP.
